It is a serious problem. Conventional wines may contain residues of pesticides, herbicides, and chemicals that have been shown to cause cancer and other diseases. Hi, my Name is Veronique Raskin and I am the President/CEO of The Organic Wine Company of San Francisco. My family has been producing wine for two hundred years in the south of France, according to formulas that have been passed on by our ancestors. We follow the rules of the European Standards for Organic Growing, using no chemicals in the fields and adding as little sulfites as possible to keep our wines stable.
